Basics of a Targeted Soil Analysis

The basis of the elaboration of a fertilizing recommendation is the relational database. A relational database consists in the combination of many database tables.

Example: There is a relation between the data of the soil analysis and the table of cultures. Each culture has specific nutritional demands, therefore the algorithm of nutrients has to be adapted to the result of the soil analysis, in other words you have to create a relation between culture and analysis. This is just one relationship, there are many relationships (e.g. regional,)

The data sheets are put in a dynamic relation.

Of particular interest: The choice of fertilizers is based on a exclusion procedure. This means that the program selects and excludes those fertilizers that are not suited. E.g. alkaline fertilizers should not be used in alcaline soils.

The program is the result of research made by Winfried Felderer for many years.
